1What is a sublimation jersey?
A sublimation jersey is a polyester jersey where the design is turned into gas by heat and absorbed into the fibres, instead of sitting on top as ink or film. The result has no texture, cannot crack or peel, breathes like the bare fabric, and allows any colour and any design edge to edge — which is why most team, league and marathon jerseys are sublimated.
2Full sublimation vs half sublimation jersey — what is the difference?
Full sublimation prints the whole jersey edge to edge — body, sleeves and collar — so the design can cover everything. Half sublimation prints only selected areas, usually the front and back panels, on a plain-coloured base. Half costs less; full gives complete design freedom. Both take names and numbers.
3How much does a custom jersey cost?
The per-piece price depends on the fabric (dot knit, pro knit, poly mesh), the GSM, full or half sublimation, collar and sleeve style, and quantity — bigger squads cost less per jersey. Names and numbers from a roster add no print cost beyond the file work. The exact per-piece price for your squad size is written on every quote.
4Can each jersey have a different name and number?
Yes. Sublimation prints from a per-piece file, so name + number on the back of every jersey costs nothing extra beyond the file work. Provide a roster spreadsheet — name, number, size — and we render each jersey individually in the same production run.
5What's the difference between sublimation and DTF for sports jerseys?
Sublimation works only on polyester and prints the design INTO the fabric — zero texture, zero peel, full-colour fidelity, infinite design coverage. DTF works on cotton and polycotton and prints ON the fabric. For activewear that needs to survive sweat + repeated washing under match conditions, sublimation is always the right call.
6How early should we lock our marathon / league kit order?
Lock the order well in advance — production timeline plus sample approval plus dispatch all back-calculate from your event date. Marathon season (October–March across most Indian cities) sees production calendars run hot industry-wide, so plan further ahead in those months. Specific lead times confirmed in writing on every quote.
7Do you supply matching sports shorts?
Yes. Sports shorts in 180 GSM Dot Knit and 200 GSM Pro Knit polyester, sublimation-printed to match the jersey design. Most full kits pair jersey + shorts in the same colour block, with team name on the side panel and sponsor logos on the front leg.
8Do small gyms and fitness studios qualify for bulk orders?
Sublimation jerseys are bulk-only. For very small boutique gym drops (yoga collectives, small studios), print-on-demand at the same DTF print quality on cotton is the alternative path — though it's on cotton not polyester. Specific minimums and pricing confirmed at quote stage.
