01 — The Artist
A creative identity built for the wear.
Harul Vinay works across music, illustration, and research rooted in the Western Himalaya — folklore, literature, and the natural world all running through what he makes. When that identity needed to become something his audience could wear, the brief to Merchland was easy to describe and harder to execute: carry gold-toned illustration this intricate onto fabric without losing the linework that makes it recognisable.
The artwork came out of a collaboration between Vasantaghara and Menelvegor Illustrations — a ram-and-dagger sigil, flame motifs, and Gothic lettering reading "In Fyre Pladde."

02 — The Drop
One collection, three ways to wear it.
The drop ran three styles off the same artwork, in 180 GSM biowashed cotton — the soft, pre-washed finish that keeps a heavier tee from feeling stiff against the print.
Oversized T-shirt — burgundy, heart-and-flame front with a large illustrated back
Regular-fit round-neck T-shirt — burgundy, the same artwork in a classic silhouette
Special full-sleeve T-shirt — black, front sigil, printed sleeves, and a quote across the back
03 — The Linework
The fabric carries the print. The print carries the detail.
Fine gold linework against dark and burgundy fabric leaves no room for a soft edge — every fold of the ram-and-dagger sigil and every letterform in the Gothic type had to hold up at close range, not just from across a room.

04 — The People
The order was smooth because the people were.
Harul's own account of the project spends as much time on the team as it does on the merchandise. He names three people directly — Sujay, Moiz, and Krishna — and credits them for a process with no logistical, printing, or pricing surprises from day one.
Sujoy, Moiz, and Krishna are simply the most supportive, respectful, and patient people, with a lot of enthusiasm and passion for what they do.

05 — The Encore
The drop landed. Then came the encore.
The first run got a strong enough response that Harul came back with a request nobody had planned for: an impromptu second batch, at short notice, with the same fabric and the same print standard.
They even took up our request for an impromptu second batch of merch at short notice.

06 — The Relationship
Quality earns the order. Service earns the next one.
The outcome was a three-style collection, a five-star review, and a second batch nobody had scheduled going in. Harul's closing note points past this one drop, to a partner he plans to keep using as his catalogue grows.

08 — FAQ
Questions people ask.
How did Merchland produce Harul Vinay's three-style artist merch drop?
Merchland manufactured all three styles — an oversized tee, a regular-fit round-neck tee, and a special full-sleeve tee — through its vetted vendor partner network, using a single artwork system across front, back, and sleeve placements so the collection read as one drop rather than three unrelated designs.
What fabric did the Harul Vinay collection use?
All three styles were printed on 180 GSM biowashed cotton — a pre-washed, soft-handle fabric chosen so a heavier tee wouldn't feel stiff against a large, detailed print.
Can Merchland handle a last-minute reorder if a merch drop sells better than expected?
Yes — Harul Vinay's drop is a direct example. The first run's response led to an impromptu second batch request, which Merchland took on at short notice without disrupting the original fabric, print, or pricing.
How long does a custom artist merch order take with Merchland?
Most custom orders move through design confirmation, printing, and quality checks inside a 30-day window, with dispatch worldwide and delivery inside India in 2–5 days after that.
