04 — Timing

Why lock the Diwali order early

The weeks before Diwali are the tightest production window of the year for apparel and embroidery. Employee gifting, client gifting, welcome kit refreshes and brand-side festive drops all compete for the same fabric and embroidery calendars at once. Orders placed late face constrained capacity, and popular fabrics such as cotton 3-thread fleece and French Terry can run short. Locking the design and quantities well in advance protects your dispatch date. A sensible rhythm is to finalise tiers and headcount first, approve the festive artwork and samples next, and leave the last stretch for packing and split dispatch, so gifts reach every office and home before the festival week. 05 — Procurement

How HR teams procure Diwali apparel gifts
