College farewell merch is custom apparel made for a graduating batch, usually a "Class of 20XX" tee printed with the batch year, college mark and often a collage of classmate signatures. Final-year students order it together through batch representatives to wear at the farewell event and keep as a record of who graduated together.

The buyers are batch representatives, class representatives and farewell committees for final-year undergraduate and postgraduate cohorts at colleges and universities of every size. Orders are usually placed jointly, with one or two classmates collecting design preferences, name spellings and sizes. Choosing the farewell tee tier

Most batches pick one main piece for everyone, then offer an optional premium piece as a sub-order. All three live products take DTF print and per-piece names.

Everyday Class Tee

Oversized cotton sinker. The accessible tier for a whole batch. The front carries the batch year and college mark; the back usually carries the signature collage.

Premium Oversized

240 GSM cotton French Terry. The keepsake tier. Heavier, more structured and a better canvas for a large back graphic or an embroidered chest crest.

Regular-Fit Round-Neck

Cotton French Terry round-neck. For batches, often postgraduate cohorts, that want a cleaner regular silhouette rather than the oversized cut.

04 — Personalisation

Personalisation that turns a tee into a keepsake

Farewell merch is identity merch. These are the details that turn another batch tee into something classmates actually keep:

• Class of 20XX on the back — large block type, the single biggest signal of what the tee is for.
• Signature print collage — each classmate's signature scanned, vectorised and printed across the back. It takes more effort and produces the most photographed tee at the event.
• Individual names per piece — DTF supports per-piece text from the roster spreadsheet at no setup cost beyond the file. A common layout is the name on the upper back with "Class of 26" below.
• Embroidered chest crest — embroidery lasts many years, while print starts to look tired earlier.
• Roll number, hostel, branch or wing on the sleeve — micro-personalisation that classmates remember. A whole hostel wing can carry matching sleeve labels.

05 — Procurement

How batch reps procure farewell merch

The window is shorter than for a fest because the design depends on classmate input that takes 2–3 weeks to collect: signatures, name spellings and sizes. Lock the vendor before collecting the data, not after. With 60 or more days to the farewell, standard production runs with a buffer for sample approval. Between 30 and 60 days a rush schedule is possible with a surcharge, and under 30 days the options narrow to stock blanks with print.

Most batches order in two cycles: a primary order for everyone attending the farewell, then a top-up reorder for classmates who were absent or joined late. Outgoing batches scatter across cities and countries within weeks of graduation, so per-classmate dispatch matters more here than in any other campus use case. 06 — How to order

How to order college farewell merch

1. Lock the vendor and brief — share the batch size estimate, the products you want and the farewell date, and start signature collection in parallel.
2. Get a written quote — per-piece pricing in writing within 24 hours, broken down by product, print and personalisation.
3. Send the roster — one spreadsheet with name, size, roll number and delivery address for anyone receiving the piece individually.
4. Approve the sample — check fabric, fit, collage legibility and name placement before bulk production starts.
5. Production and dispatch — bulk delivery to the venue plus individual dispatch. India in 2–5 days; international in 7–14 days.
