College club and society merch is custom apparel ordered by student clubs, societies and academic departments to mark membership, roles and events. It usually means member tees, core-team hoodies and polos printed or embroidered with the club name and crest. It runs in several small drops across the academic year rather than one big fest order.

The buyers are cultural societies, technical clubs, debate and dramatics societies, MUN societies, photography clubs, consulting and finance clubs, AI/ML groups, hostel councils and academic departments at colleges and universities of every size. Each one runs its own programme: a kickoff drop in August, an annual flagship drop, ad-hoc event drops and core-team kits. What clubs and societies typically order

Society or Club Tee

The everyday membership tee. Cotton sinker round-neck is the cost-effective workhorse; cotton sinker oversized suits clubs with a more contemporary audience. Society name on the front, batch year and role on the back.

Core Team Hoodie

Only core team or executive board members get this one. A cotton 3-thread fleece zipper hoodie with an embroidered chest crest and individual name and role on the back. Smaller sub-runs make a premium fabric affordable.

Department Day Tee

The whole-batch piece for CSE, Mechanical, Civil, EE or management batch days. Cotton sinker round-neck at scale, department crest on the front, batch year on the back. Hostel-day tees follow the same template with the hostel block name.

04 — MUN societies

Special case: MUN societies

MUN societies are a distinct pattern within the society category, with a different product mix, role hierarchy and timeline. Most run two separate apparel orders per conference cycle:

• Delegate apparel — formal polos rather than casual tees, since MUN dress code is business formal. PC matty polos with an embroidered chest crest replace the usual society tee, often in per-committee colour blocks for UNHRC, UNGA, SOCHUM or DISEC.
• Secretariat and Executive Board kits — CP matty polos in a contrast colour with "SECRETARIAT" or "EB" on the back, sometimes paired with a zipper hoodie for late sessions.
• Per-conference identity printing — DTF supports a conference-specific overprint such as "[Conference Name] 2026" on the back collar or sleeve, refreshed each year.
• Per-delegate dispatch after the conference — delegates travel in from other colleges, so send the delegate roster with addresses and each piece ships individually.

05 — Replenishment

Annual reorder cadence

The recurring cadence is what separates club merch from college fest merchandise. Most active clubs place several orders per academic year:

• August kickoff — new-member welcome tees and a refreshed core-team kit.
• October–November — annual flagship event merch: debate finals, photo exhibitions, technical symposia, MUN conferences.
• February–March — department day or hostel day drops and spring cultural drops.
• Ad-hoc — workshop kits, partner-event collaborations and milestone drops such as a tenth anniversary.

Embroidery setup is paid once at the first order. Later reorders reuse the design files at no extra cost and run faster than a fresh design. For very small drops, print-on-demand has no MOQ, dispatches in 2–5 days and needs no inventory commitment from the club treasury.

How to order club and society merch

1. Share the brief — the drop, product mix, rough quantities, artwork and the event date it needs to land before.
2. Get a written quote — per-piece pricing in writing within 24 hours, including any one-time embroidery setup.
3. Approve a sample — check fabric, fit, print and crest placement before bulk production.
4. Send the roster — names, roles, sizes and, for delegates, delivery addresses.
5. Production and dispatch — bulk delivery to campus or individual dispatch. India in 2–5 days; international in 7–14 days.
6. Reorder on the locked design — the next drop reuses saved files, so only quantities and names change.
