What is college fest merchandise?

College fest merchandise is custom-printed apparel made for a college or university festival. It usually means oversized tees, round-neck tees and polos carrying the fest name, year, theme artwork and sponsor marks. Fest committees order it in bulk for volunteers, core teams and attendees, then sell or hand it out before and during the fest weekend.

The buyers are student-led fest committees at colleges and universities of every size: cultural fests, technical fests, management fests and combined sports-and-cultural weekends. Department fests and club leadership teams order on the same pattern at a smaller scale. Bulk production is the dominant model, with print-on-demand covering the small extras. What's included in a college fest merch order

The lineup follows the fest type, the season and the budget tier. A typical order draws on these pieces:

• Oversized tees — the Oversized T-Shirt Cotton Sinker is the campus default for cultural and tech fests. Soft, breathable and the most cost-effective oversized option for high-volume runs.
• Premium oversized tees — the 240 GSM Oversized T-Shirt Cotton French Terry is heavier and more structured, with a looped back. Committees use it for flagship lines and limited drops where the budget allows the heavier fabric.

03 — Print methods

Three methods cover almost every fest order. The right one depends on the fabric and how permanent the mark needs to be.

DTF (Direct-to-Film)

The default for fest merch. Sharp, full-colour and resistant to cracking at the seams. Works on cotton and polycotton, so it is the standard for oversized tees and round-necks.

Embroidery

For polos and core-team merch where committees want a permanent, premium finish. The usual choice for chest crests and role labels such as "CORE MEMBER" or "ORGANISER".

Sublimation

Used on polyester activewear and jersey kits. The design is locked into the fabric, so there is no peel risk. Fests with a sports leg usually run this alongside their college sports tournament jerseys.

04 — Procurement

How fest committees procure

The procurement window is the single most important variable. If the vendor is locked late, either sample approval gets compressed, which is a quality risk, or production runs hot, which is a delivery risk. Fests with large piece runs need a longer planning window than smaller fests.

Lead time falls into three tiers. With 60 or more days before the fest, standard production runs with a buffer for sample approval. Between 30 and 60 days, a rush schedule is possible with a surcharge. Under 30 days, the realistic options are stock blanks with print. Most fest orders use stock fabrics, because custom-developed fabric blocks add meaningful time to the cycle.

05 — How to order

How to order college fest merchandise

1. Share the brief — fest name and dates, the product mix you have in mind, rough quantities per design and your artwork files.
2. Get a written quote — per-piece pricing in writing within 24 hours, broken down by product and print method.
3. Approve a sample — one sample tee on the chosen base fabric is standard. Some committees ask for two or three on different fabrics to compare hand feel before locking the order.
4. Bulk production — cutting, printing, stitching and quality checks once the sample is signed off.
5. Dispatch and split shipment — bulk delivery to campus plus individual dispatch where needed. India deliveries arrive in 2–5 days.

Shipping to every campus, including the Northeast

We dispatch to all 28 states and 8 union territories. That includes institutes across the Northeast: Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura and Mizoram. Northeast routes take longer than metro deliveries, so committees there should build a few extra days into the plan. Dispatch is worldwide, and international orders arrive in 7–14 days via DHL, FedEx, Aramex and partner couriers.
